Our Story

STRONGER TOGETHER.

USUNION.org brings people and communities together around a shared purpose: creating opportunity, strengthening relationships, and building communities where people can thrive.

Our Mission

More Than a Game.

We believe stronger communities are built when people have meaningful opportunities to connect, contribute, and belong.

That's why USUNION.org works across communities to bring people together through youth development, mentorship, sports, education, outreach, service, and strategic partnerships.                                                                                                                                     Integrity. Outreach. Connection. Opportunity. Service. These aren't simply values we talk about - they're how we build and unite.

What We Stand For

Our Founding Values

Integrity

We hold ourselves to the highest standard — on the field and off. Honesty, accountability, and character are the foundation of everything we do.  And we hope to promote those values with others.

Outreach

We believe strong communities lift everyone.  We support local needs, build lasting relationships, and help create opportunities for people to thrive.

Unity

We celebrate what makes us different and build on what makes us the same. Diversity is our greatest strength.

Purpose

Every program, every practice, every partnership is driven by a clear mission: to empower young people and strengthen communities.

How It Started

The USUNION.org Story

USUNION.org was born from a shared frustration and a shared hope.

The frustration was simple:  too much divides us.  Across our communities, differences in background, geography, opportunity, and experience too often become barriers between people who have more in common than they realize. But we shared a hope, too - that those divisions don't have to define us.

We believed we could do more to bring people together.  More to create opportunity.  More to strengthen the communities we share.  More to build relationships across the lines that too often separate us.                                                                                                                                                                  So we made that our call to action:  to promote and build a greater union.  We began with youth sports because sports has a remarkable ability to create common ground.  On the field, people from different backgrounds become teammates.  Coaches become mentors.  Competition builds character.  And a game can become the beginning of relationships that extend far beyond it.   Our first initiative is to strengthen communities through youth sports by supporting local programs and removing barriers for underprivileged athletes, helping more young people come together, compete, and grow.
